Minneapolis is a strong contender for 'top city for cyclists in the USA'. Part of what makes it so great is the 5.7 mile long
Midtown Greenway,
which is the highlight in a network of 100 miles of bike paths. It goes
from east to west and provides the best way to go through the city at
rush hour. It was built over an abandoned railway corridor, showing
other cities how their old industrial infrastructure can be up-cycled.
